Psi Chi Meetings

February 1, 2010

I.                    Website

a.       Ashley did a bang-up job making it. Marybeth did a great time submitting the award.

b.      New Feature: we can post minutes via e-mail (use your Bradley e-mail account).

c.       Jade is going to get Ashley the info about getting the site hosted by Bradley.

II.                  Movie Night

a.       This is not going to happen.

b.      We want to move it to February 10^th.

c.       We don’t have everything planned. So, we are punting.

d.      We are trying to tie this to the Awareness Event.

e.      The Movie will be Thirteen, and we will have a speaker that is TBD.

III.                Meeting of the Minds

a.       Talk to other members about what they would like to see.

b.      Could Huffcutt talk about grad school interviews? Jade and Doug will find out.

c.       17^th or 24^th 5 PM

IV.                Bowling

a.       Going on the 3^rd regardless.

b.      We might go to a private venue rather than Landmark.

c.       March 3^rd, Wednesday at 8 PM.

d.      Site TBD.

V.                  Hug-a-Carson

a.       April 20^th at the concert.

b.      Committee: Jade, Ashley, Carson

c.       “Me and JoJo are like this.” -Jade

d.      We need the presentation by next week.

e.      We will be handing out hugs on the 12^th of February (KP will get hugs tonight).

f.        “Hugs not Harm”

VI.                Personal Statement

a.       4/21/10

b.      Rick Smith at the Career Center

c.       4:30 refreshments then to the Career Center as a group

VII.              Late Night BU

a.       Have an awareness room at LNBU.

b.      Give statistics and reasons why we are doing this event.

c.       Bring out the serious side.
